Charles Scott Doyle, 80, died Monday in a local hospital.
Born in Arizona, he was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist, Felton; past master of Foothill Masonic Lodge 564, Oakland; past patron of the Order of Eastern Star, Fruitvale chapter 297 of Oakland; charter member of the Valley of the Redwood chapter 638; and Order of Eastern Star, Felton.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy S. Doyle of Scotts Valley; a son, David Doyle of McLean, Va.; a daughter, Doris McElhose of San Leandro; and four grandchildren.
Private family services were held at Wessendorf and Holmes Funeral chapel Tuesday. Inurnment was in the Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland.
