Mary Louise ( Tackett ) Morgan, 78, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 23, 1941, in Virgie, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Kermit and Draxie ( Hall ) Tackett. Louise was a small but feisty lady. She was an excellent gardener, canner, and cook, who primarily engaged in these things to raise her family. She enjoyed shopping at yard sales. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving family; children, Kathy ( Chuck ) King, Jim ( Jonette ) Morgan, Dwayne Morgan, Carol Arthur, and Mike ( Missy ) Morgan; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy ( Libby ) Tackett and Harold ( Sandy ) Tackett; three sisters, Nova Derexson, Judy ( Robert ) Calder, and Shirley ( Kenny ) Sharp; sister-in-law, Jean ( Jerry ) Ward; as well as several nieces and nephews, and her two dogs, Blackie and Sassy.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Morgan, whom she married on September 13, 1958; a son David Morgan; a grandson Keith Denney; two brothers, Moody and Wendell Tackett; daughter-in-law Melody Morgan; as well as her dog. Charlie.
The family will receive friends at R.M. Williams Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 11 to 1 p.m., where a funeral service celebrating Louise's life will follow commencing at 1:00 p.m., Her granddaughter, Haley Arthur will officiate. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

And no one heard the footsteps of angels drawing near.
It broke our hearts to lose you. But you did not go alone
For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
