Nannie was one of five daughters born to William and Nannie Lynn of Stafford.

Richmond Hotel: A quiet marriage took place at Richmond Hotel, Richmond, VA, 1:30 pm, Sept 20, 1922, when Miss Nannie Pocahontas Lynn, of Washington, D.C., became the bride of Mr. T.J. (Thomas Jefferson, Jr.) Woolfenden, of Prince William County, VA, Rev. Norman Luck officiating

Nannie is buried next to her youngest sister Elizabeth. Her husband Thomas J. Woolfenden, Jr. is buried at the Belle Haven Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, at Kopp, Virginia, which is now a part of the Marine Corps Base, Quantico. All that is left of Kopp is the cemetery and the foundation of the school, which is across the street from the cemetery.

Mrs. Woolfenden, 89 Dies at Her Home
Mrs. Nannie P. Woolfenden of 214 Fairview Avenue died at her home on Thursday, Dec. 21 Mrs. Woolfenden, 89, was the wife of the late Thomas J. Woolfenden and is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lelia L. Perry of Manassas. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, Dec. 23, at Baker Chapel. Interment was at Dumfries Cemetery.
