David Adams, age 81, a resident of this city for more than a half century, died Monday at 10:35 p. m. at the residence of his son, W. B. Adams, 206 Vineyard street, North Anderson, following an illness of eleven months. He had suffered three strokes of paralysis.
He was born in North Carolina and came to this locality 55 years ago. he was engaged in farming until a few years ago. Surviving are three sons, W. B. Adams, Arza Adams, of Connersville, and C. O. Adams of Anderson; a sister, Mrs. Mary A. Shore; a half-brother Ivan Hobson, and a half-sister, Mrs. Edna Keesling, all of California.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p. m. from the Adams home. Robert F. Waltz will be in charge. Burial will be in Maplewood. [Anderson Daily Bulletin, June 14, 1932; P7 C1]
