William E. Daisey Jr., 79, of Millsboro passed away at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md.

He is the son of the late William E. Daisey Sr. and Rosalie M. Daisey of Millsboro. William was married to his late wife Terry Daisey. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard, and was an active member of the Masonic Lodge in Winter Haven, Fla., where he previously lived. William was also a correctional officer and owned his own construction company.

William enjoyed dancing, gardening, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents William E. Daisey Sr. and Rosalie M. Daisey; and his late wife Terry Daisey. William is survived by his children Leroy, Alex and Sharon; grandchildren Nicholas, Chris, Clare, Samantha, Brooke, Ricky, Shane and Toni; and several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at St. George’s Cemetery, 34281 Omar Road, Frankford, Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m.
