Victim of I-35 bridge collapse in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Vera Peck and her son Richard Chit emigrated to Minnesota from Cambodia in 1980s in hopes of a better life. Richard was also killed in the bridge collapse.
She is survived by two daughters who live in Minnesota. A church service for Peck and her son is being planned.
Cause of death: Drowned
