Funeral services for Nancy Mae Bailey, who died Jan. 8 at her home, were held Jan. 10 from Bybee and Davis Funeral Home with Dr. Leonard E. Deaver officiating. Burial was in the Drakesville (Iowa) Cemetery. Pallbearers were Edward Tumlin, Rodger Bailey, Greg Tumlin, Gary Bailey, David Smith and Fritz Paveglio. Chapel music was provided.

Nancy Mae, daughter of James and Nancy Beedle Bailey, was born March 28, 1893 in Davis County. She was a resident of Knoxville since 1930 and retired from the VA Hospital in 1951. She was a member of the Knoxville First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a 50-year member of Marion Rebekah Lodge 70. Her parents, two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Surviving are her brother, Otis Bailey, who made his home with her; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Dovie Bailey of Drakesville; and several nieces and nephews.
