Jonesport – Viola Mae Kelley went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 3, 2020. She was born in Jonesport on August 17, 1928, the daughter of Leman W. Kelley and Mary E. (Reynolds) Kelley.
After graduating from the Jonesport School System, Viola worked for many years in the local food processing businesses. She was a lifelong member of Community of Christ (formerly the RLDS Church) of Jonesport. Viola was always devoted to her family.
She was predeceased by her parents; three sisters, Cecelia A. Alley, Verna K. Kelley, Emily A. Kelley; brother-in-law, Simeon L. Alley; and grandnephew, Michael E. Alley.
Surviving are one nephew and wife, Charles L. and Abigail Alley; one niece and husband, Donna F. and Wayne N. Beal; three grandnephews, Jason L. Alley and wife Elaine, Brian C. Alley, and Jeremy W. Beal and wife Maria; and several great-grandnephews and grandnieces all of Jonesport.
Viola was an ardent animal lover, having Pomeranians who went everywhere with her throughout her life.
There will be a graveside service at 1pm, on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery in Jonesport.
