Alice was a member of United In Faith Church and had a bachelor degree in nursing which she used diligently at Pana Community Hospital, Taylorville Correctional Center and several other places. Alice always claimed to have a passion for serving others, whether it be volunteering at the schools or serving on various committees at her church, she was always willing to lend a hand. In her quiet time she enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and gardening, especially tending to her Marigolds and Red Geraniums.
Alice is survived by her children: Reynold Alde, Jr., Pana, Daniel (Jill) Alde, Pana, Richard (Suzann) Alde, Shabbona, Karl Alde, Pana, Janet (Mike) Arnold, Pana, Michael Alde, Pana, Susan Hutchinson, Mattoon, Maria (Ryan) Denton, Fayetteville, NC; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren with one more due very soon; and a sister, Verna Jack, FL. She was also preceded by a sister, Carol Kumpulainen.
Visitation for Alice will be held Friday, March 13, 2020 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at United In Faith Church, Pana. A private family service will be held following visitation.
Memorials in Alice’s honor may be made to the Carnegie-Schuyler Library, Pana and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
