WALTER LEE BLAYDES, SR., 81, of Millington, TN, died Sunday, June 24, 2007. Mr. Blaydes was a retired delivery driver for Arlington Developmental Center. Public viewing will be from 1-7 p.m., and the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 29 at Jefferson, Mortuary, 7788 Church St., Millington. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at Noah Chapel AME Church, 6791 Pleasant Ridge Road, Millington, with burial to follow in Noah Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Blaydes was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae Blaydes. He leaves a son, Walter Blaydes, Jr.; a sister, Mildred Harris, both of Millington; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
