John Wimer, 87, of Mill Point died Saturday in a Marlington hospital after suffering a heart attack. Born at Rock Cave Nov. 22, 1883, he was the son of the late Josiah and Harriet Brake Wimer. He was a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Lela Tenney Wimer; seven sons, Krellis of Hillsboro, Maurice of Mill Point, Roscoe and Clayton, both of Lima, Ohio, Arden of Baltimore, Md., Arnett of Darlington, Md., and Rufus of Street, Md., and a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Ward of Clay. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hillsboro United Methodis Church with Rev. William Markley and Rev. Cecil Dalton in charge. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Hillsboro.
