Survived by wife, Bea Branson of Edgewood; sons, Frank Branson, III of Dallas and John Branson of Fort Worth; step-son, Bill Heath of Lewisville; sisters, Dorothy Lowry of Sabine, Virginia Pierson of Paris; grandchildren, Frank Branson, IV of Dallas, Jennifer Branson of Dallas, Johnny Branson of Fort Worth and Wendy Branson of Fort Worth. Retired Naval Officer, began a long and successful high school coaching career after the war. Coached in many East Texas School from Bogata to Clarksville. Most of career was at Brewer High School in Fort Worth. Retired in 1982 as Superintendent of Schools in Edgewood, Texas. Services 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the RUSSELL MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Wills Point, Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Interment in Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.
