W. E. FORBES DIES AT SWINK
Born Near Garvin, I. T., In 1868
William Edward Forbes, 75, well-known Swink farmer and stockman, died at his home at 9 p. m. Thursday of a heart ailment. He had been in ill health only a short time.
He was a native of McCurtain county, having been born near Garvin, Indian Territory. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Funeral services to be held at Swink cemetery under direction of Wilson funeral home, were incomplete at press time pending arrival of relatives.
He is survived by his widow; three daughters, Mrs. George Victor, Idabel; Edna Harkins (Mrs. Lester Harkins), Swink; and Mrs. J. E. Walker, Bakersfield, Calif.; one son, Albert Forbes, with the navy at San Diego, Calif.; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He had resided at Swink for the past 19 years, previously at Idabel.

Funeral services for W. E. Forbes, 75, well-known Swink farmer and stockman who died at his home Thursday, were held at 5 p. m. Monday at Swink cemetery.
Rev. J. A. Hogg, pastor of the Idabel Baptist church, officiated. Interment and arrangements were under direction of Wilson funeral home.
