Cathy A. Pisor, 46, of 167 Timber Lane, died the morning of June 8, 2009, in her home. Born April 19, 1963, in Ellwood City, she was a daughter of the late Thomas D. Crowther and Ann Erickson Crowther Thalgott. Her mother survives in Mountain View, Ark.
She married George S. Pisor Oct. 24, 1981. He survives.
She was a 1981 graduate of Laurel High School. She was an office manager for 26 years with the law firm of Balph, Nicolls, Mitsos, Flannery and Clark. She was a member of the 4-H Club and enjoyed horses and attending horse shows, cooking and gardening. She was a member of New Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school and helped with Children's Church. She also was a leader of the Sunday Night Alive.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one daughter, Annaliese Pisor of New Castle; two sons, Ben Pisor and Nick Pisor, both of New Castle; one sister, Karen L. Saxton of New Castle. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Thomas Eric Crowther.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the New Covenant EPC, Harlansburg Road, New Castle with the Rev.
