Ronnie began his 23 years of service with Texas Iron Works on September 5, 1978 as a Service Technician and then Service Manager in the Lafayette District Office. It did not take long for TIW to realize his potential, so in May of 1980, he was promoted to Assistant District Manager of Youngsville and then was further promoted into Sales in 1983. Prior to joining Texas Iron Works, he worked for Pelican Well Service, Delta Drilling, Sea Board Well Service as a floor hand & then promoted to Driller and Frank’s Casting Crews. Ronnie left TIW in 1984 to work for A-1 Bit and Tool Company, only to return to TIW in October 1988 as a Service Technician in Youngsville. He was promoted into Sales in 1990 and in 1993 transferred to the newly created Window Cutting Division and continued to work out of the Youngsville District Office. He traveled all over the United States and overseas servicing and running window cutting products until his retirement in May 2011.

He was known to many as, "Ronnie", "Champ", or "Humphrey". Ronnie was a member of the Breaux Bridge Quarterback Club. He loved barbecuing, attending football games and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Ronnie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
