Robert William Zugg Sr. “Bob”Georgetown, Texas
Bob Zugg, 77 passed away peacefully at home on March 2, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 12, 1942 in Brownwood, Texas, the son of Percy Vano Zugg and Betty Jean (Clay) Zugg. Bob graduated from Bob Jones Academy, Class of 1959. On May 28, 1960 Bob married Ann Russell in Odessa, Texas. In 1964 Bob started United Meter Company in Andrews, Texas and went on to have several successful business’s including a joint venture with a Russian Oil Company. As a young adult Bob enjoyed calling square dances and bowling. He was a Master Mason of the Masonic Lodge in Andrews, Texas and a member Sam J Helm Shrine in Odessa, Texas. Bob later became very skilled in woodworking and utilized his talent to build a cross that is on display at First Baptist Church in Andrews Texas. By far, Bob’s favorite hobby was golf! His proudest accomplishments were successfully making two holes-in-one. He not only enjoyed playing golf with family he created lifelong relationships with friends! Bob’s love for Christ started as a child where most of his early years were spent on the mission field in the Middle East. This love for Christ guided Bob through-out his life, personally and professionally! He passed

his love of Christ to his children and grandchildren. Bob was an active member of First Baptist Church in Andrews, Texas where he held several different board positions. After Bob and Ann moved to Sun City in Georgetown, Texas they joined the Worship Place Church where they attended services for many years. Because Bob’s greatest love was family, he and Ann bought a small family ranch in Brownwood Texas, where they loved to host family gatherings!

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. & Mrs. PV Zugg; Grandparents, Willie Jacob Zugg and Percy Rence (Cavin) Zugg, Roy Adston Clay and Ora Elizabeth (Henderson) Clay.

He is survived by his wife Ann; son, Robert W. Zugg Jr (Bobby) and wife Heather of Liberty Hill, Texas; Daughter, Cindy McDonald and husband Eric of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren, Luke McDonald and wife Lee, Logan McDonald, Leah McDonald, Robert W. Zugg III (Bo), Case Zugg, Colby Zugg, Colton Yarborough and wife Kristen, Logan Yarborough, Sammy Zugg; great grandchildren, Lyle McDonald and Emmy Yarborough; siblings, John Dale Zugg, Paul Zugg, Diana Zugg and Daniel Zugg.

A service of remembrance will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 6801 E. Business 20, Odessa, TX
