Ruthie Richardson born October 30, 1945. Died February 26, 2020.

Ruthie was saved at a young age, very active in GAs, Acteens and later in WMU. She is a member of Living Hope Baptist Church in Welch, Oklahoma. Ruthie married Gary Richardson January 29, 1966 and they have been married 54 years.

Ruthie is survived by her husband Gary; Children Donovan Richardson of Miami, Oklahoma, Mark Richardson of Seneca, Missouri, Marci Caperton and husband Chadd of Madisonville, Texas, Michael Richardson and wife Sherry of Seneca, Missouri, and Mandy Snelson and husband John of Dickinson, Texas. Grandchildren Bo, Clara and Samantha Snelson, Jacob Harry, Malinda Caperton, Samuel Richardson, Madilynn Ruth Caperton, Izzy Perkins, Joshua Richardson, and Collin Caperton. Great-granddaughter Denver Harry

She is proceeded in death by her parents Clara and Hal Hillhouse, brother Sam Hillhouse, grandson Tristan Richardson, and Father in law Jimmie Richardson.

Ruthie was foster mother to Edward Morales and several others, childcare provider to many, Falls Creek leader for hundreds and honored name sake for one well for clean water in Ethiopia. She was a pastor's wife and example of a Christian woman to thousands.
She is a lover of her pets, a Master of Cross stitch, a fanatic for sports (especially watching Bo play in the Army Navy game), support to All that need nurturing. She was a legend in her family for her Sunday Roast, Spaghetti Red, and Gumbo.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 29, 2020, from Noon till 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Commerce.

There will be a Celebration of Life following at 1:00 PM also at First Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at the Zion Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Missouri. Services are under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the building fundLiving Hope Baptist Church in Welch, Oklahoma.
