Carol A. Shaffer, 70, of Frankfort, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020, in Frankfort. She was born May 29,1949 , in Indianapolis, to Horace G. and Dorothy E. (Stoelting) Abdon.
Carol married Robert Shaffer on August 14, 1971. He survives.
Carol graduated from Arlington High School in 1967 and then Indiana University in Bloomington, earning her B.S. in Medical Technology in 1971.
She was a member of the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Carol is survived by her husband, three daughters, Jennifer S. (Matt) O’Donnell, Cynthia S. (Justin) Long, Susan S. (Todd) Jones, brother, Dr. Richard (Linda) Abdon, sister, Nancy (Richard) McCord, and 9 Grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held on March 8, 2020 at the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Frankfort. Pastor Kelly Kurth will officiate.
