NANCY MARIE ATNIP WHITEFIELD
76 year old Nancy Marie Whitefield of Smithville passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. She was a homemaker.
Visitation with the family will be at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 3rd from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and Wednesday, March 4th from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Bro. Bobby Thomason will officiate.
Burial will follow at Mt Holly Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitefield was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Whitefield; parents, Goldie Lee and Mary Jim Braswell Atnip; daughter, Teresa Whitefield; brothers Gordon, Joel B, and Bobby Atnip; and sister, Rose Bain.
She is survived by sons, Jimmy Earl Whitefield of Smithville and Gary Wayne Whitefield of Alabama. Daughter, Rhonda Reeves of Sparta. Grandchildren, Jeffery Whitefield of Spencer, Jason and Savannah Whitefield of Smithville, Gavin Whitefield of Georgia, and Corey Lumpkin of Cookeville and special granddaughter, Haley Jones of Smithville. Great grandchildren. Brother, Duywane and Anna Atnip of Smithville. Sisters, Lois Atnip and Priscilla and Cotton Bain of Smithville; and brother-in-law, Toy Johnny Bain of Smithville. Special friend, Carol Ann O'Claire. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
