It looks as though Elvie was married twice with no known children. He first married Janetta B Purcell Clark Delamere Purcell on 21 Oct 1918 in DeWitt, IL (she was married twice before with one daughter, Lela Clark born 1911). They must have divorced between 1918 and 1920 because in the 1920 census Elvie is now married to Valetta F Harer. I haven't been able to locate any death information for either wife. Janetta is last seen living with a brother in the 1930 census still using the surname of McRoy. Valetta is last seen in her mother's obituary as Valetta McRoy living in San Diego in 1963.
