Edwin Donald Brown, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away in Fresno on Sunday, July 22, 2007. He was born in Boise, Idaho in 1923. Edwin was devoted to his beloved wife of 51 years. He was a resident of Squaw Valley for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Brown. Edwin was loved by everyone who knew him for his honesty and generosity. He enjoyed serving as a volunteer for many years in the community of Squaw Valley and was honored for his work. He worked most of his life in the lumber industry in Northern California before retiring from Allstate Plywood in 1982. He adored spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by friends and family and everyone whose life he touched. Edwin is survived by his wife, children,& grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at the Squaw Valley Cemetery on Friday, August 3, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow. Donations may be made to the charity of choice.
