Basil Delano Basham, 78, of Princeton passed away early Thursday, October 17, 2019.
He was born in Mercer County, son of the late Harloe Basham and Minnie Blevins Goodman Basham. A U.S. Army veteran, he retired from GTE with twenty eight years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Roy Edward Goodman.
Survivors include his wife of fifty one years, Carol Wolfe, one daughter, Misty Basham-Leedy and husband Jeff; one son, Joshua Basham; grandchildren, who were the joy of his life, Aislinn and Katerina Leedy, Shaye and Zayne Basham, Schuylar Reggi Barnes and husband Joe and an expected great grandchild; two sisters, Irene Robertson and Lois Redden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
