NEELY'S LANDING WOMAN DIES HERE
Mrs. Cornelia Burnett Passes away following operation at hospital.
Mrs. Cornelia Mary Burnett, wife of Harvey Burnett, a farmer living near Neely's Landing, died at St. Francis hospital shortly after noon Wednesday, death resulting drom a major operation performed the later part of last week.
Mrs. Burnett was brought here a week ago today in a very serious condition and the operation was performed the following day in the hope of saving her life. She was too weak, however, and gradually sank till the end came Wednesday.
Mrs. Burnett was 51 years, 10 months and 7 days old, and leaves, besides her husband, one son to mourn her death. The body was shipped to Neelly's Landing this morning and from there will be taken to Grafton, Il., for burial.
