Sherburn- Service. For Arza R. Crissinger, 81, of Sherburn will be 11 am Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn with burial in Sherburn City Cemetery.
Mr. Crissinger died Tuesday afternoon at Rosewood Manor in Estherville. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm today at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn and one hour prior to service at the church.
He was born February 18,1906, in Manyaska Township, Minnesota. He received his education in Sherburn schools.
He married Florence Dorendorf September 7,1927 , at Zion Lutheran Church in Fraser Township. After their marriage, the couple farmed in the Martin County area. He had become a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in Jackson in August 1981.
He then entered the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont June 23,1983, and since July 10,1986, had been a resident of Rosewood Manor in Esterville. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and was a past member of its building committee. He at one time served on the Sherburn Creamery Board for several years.
Survivors include his wife; sons Robert of Jackson, John of Chanhassen ; and Ralph,Kenneth, and Dennis , all of Sherburn; daughters Mrs. Paul( Janet) Overgaard of Albert Lea; and Mrs Dennis( Mary) Scheff of Sherburn; and 26 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents,one daughter,two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
