Mrs. Mary Clyde, widow of the later Robert E. Lee of 257 Johnson Ferry Rd., Marietta died May 25 at age 80 after a long illness. She owned and operated the restaurant in the state capital for 12 years. She later became house mother at Phi-Gamma-Delta Fraternity at Georgia Tech for 3 years. She was a member of Mt. Paran Church of God.
She is survived by daughter, Mrs. Frances Lee Hines, Marietta; granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Bridges; great-grandchildren, Miss Sherrie Bridges, Miss Lisa Bridges, Miss Laurie Bridges, Mr. Richard Bridges, Jr. Atlanta.
Graveside services will be held Friday May 27 at 11 a.m. in Arlington Memorial Park. Rev. Ralph Foster will officiate.
Six of her former boys at the fraternity will serve as honorary pallbearers.
