She was born in Osage, Kansas, and had lived in Kansas City, Kansas, for 65 years and in El Dorado for three years. Mrs. Burkrey was the daughter of the late George E. Monahan, Probate Judge of Wyandotte County. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas. Her husband, William A. Burkrey, of the home, survived her.
Services were held on Tuesday morning at the St. Joseph Home Chapel in El Dorado. Burial on Tuesday afternoon in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
