Eddie Leonard Privia, 93, of Pensacola passed away Monday, July 30, 2007.
He served his country for almost thirty years with the U S Marine Corps and the U S Army. Eddie did five overseas tours to France, Japan and Germany. He began a second career with Civil Service retiring from the U S Navy Hospital, NAS Pensacola.
Survivors include his sons, Eddie M. Privia and Leonard Eugene Privia; his children's mother, Jeanette and a sister-in-law, Ola Mae Darby.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Friday at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating.
Interment, with full military honors, will be at Barrancas National Cemetery.
