The family of Arthur L. Twede, age 84, were saddened on June 8, 1986 when he died at a Salt Lake City Hospital.
He was born November 10, 1901 at Mapleton, Utah to Herman and Mary Eliza Jensen Twede. He married Thelma Fay Gasser in the LDS Temple on November 21, 1922. The couple have a daughter, Karen Glover, and two sons, Vaughn and Lynn, of Salt Lake City. Another son, Floyd, resides in California. They have 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was one of 12 children and lived in Utah County until 1936 when he moved to Salt Lake City, were he retired from the Granite School District in 1965. He spent the last 20 years pursuing his hobbies of hunting and fishing. He was a High Priest and held many positions in the LDS Church and will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 12th at the Kimball LDS Chapel, 2280 South 3rd Wast, Salt Lake City. Burial will be in Sandy, Utah.
