Co was born in Achterberg, Holland. She was the eighth of nine children born to Jan Willem Henzen and Jannetje Drost. She was thirteen years old when World War 2 started. In 1948, she married Albertus Roseboom and moved to his hometown of Ede, where they had a small dairy farm. Together they had three children.

In 1967, the family decided to immigrate to Canada and they settled in Chilliwack, BC, where they again started farming. Co always worked very hard, not only on the farm, but also went out and cleaned houses.

Co loved life and kept herself busy with her many hobbies. She was an expert needle worker (knitting, crochet and cross-stitch) and it gave her great joy to make things for her family. She was also an avid gardener, always growing her own vegetables and was a member of Minter Gardens for many seasons. She loved to travel and took many bus trips with Jackson Tours. She also loved to read.

In 2017, she moved to Carefree Manor in 100 Mile house, BC, and most recently to Fisher Place, where she passed away on October 8, 2019.

Co was predeceased by her parents and siblings, and in 1990, by her husband, Bart.
She was laid to rest at the 100 Mile House Municipal Cemetery. We will miss her.
