Mrs. Marjorie Newbern Giddens, age 89, Pearson, Ga. passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at Lakeside Senior Living in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.

Patricia Wright of Atlanta, Ga.
Brother: Thomas Newbern and wife Marge of Pisgah Forest, N.C.
6 Grandchildren: Diedre Joiner and husband Jeff of Kingsland, Ga.
Kristan Harper of Pearson, Ga.
Zane Nugent of Savannah, Ga.
Shannon Marcus of Macon, Ga.
Abby Johnson and husband Garrick of Richardton, N.D Danna Wright of Milledgeville, Ga.
7 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, and several nieces, nephews, and other realtives also survive.
Mrs. Giddens was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Ila Walker Newbern, sister, Doris Newbern Martin, and brother, H.C. Newbern.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Giddens wereheld, Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at Satilla Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Worzella officiating. The interment was in Satilla Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
