Evelyn Cowan Hardy died February 16, 2020, at the West Hills Health & Rehab Center in Knoxville, Tenn. Evelyn was the daughter of Clarence R Cowan and Lillie Delong Cowan. She lived in Danville most of her life. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She worked for the James T. Catlin Insurance Company. She was married for 42 years to Bernard Louis Hardy, who preceded her in death on November 14, 1985. She is survived by a son, Bernard L Hardy Jr, (Cynthia); a daughter, Beverly H Walker; five grandchildren.
Burial will be at Highland Burial Park.
