He was born on August 5, 1941 in Oak Hill, IL the son of Lee and Esther Wolf Hartley. He married Kay McCartney on July 16, 1960.
Surviving are his children, Harold (Leeann Spencer) Hartley, Jerry Hartley and Amy (Troy Heuck) White. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren ,7 great grandchildren and three sisters Lorraine, Juanita and Marilee.
He worked as a diesel mechanic for Peoria Blacktop and later R.A. Cullinan before his retirement. He enjoyed boating and was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan and Nascar fan.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials in his name may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with arrangements.
