February 2020 - Passage. Liberato "Atoy" Pangilinan Flores, age 75, of Riverton, Utah, passed away on the 13th of February at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. He was the first child of Capt. Florencio and Josefina Flores. He was born on December 20, 1944 in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. He married Dominica Tualla Dumapay on January 15, 1973 in Manila, Philippines. They were sealed in Manila Philippines Temple on 13th of August 1986.

Leading a life of diverse employment, he was a "jack of all trades". From an electrician, security officer, telephone operator to an associate in Walmart and many more, he was delighted by all who met him. He was always compassionate about others. His family was of the utmost importance for him. He loved his children unconditionally. He was quiet but had a sense of humor who could bring a smile to any face, especially his grandchildren.

Liberato was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 55 years and held various church callings such as Stake High Counselor, Counselor of the Bishopric, Stake Sunday School Counselor, Ward Clerk, and a Stake Missionary.

Liberato is survived by his wife, Dominica Flores; children Alvin (Liza) of Post Falls, Idaho; Boyd (Andrea) of Vernal, Utah; Carina (Emil) of Quezon City, Metro Manila; Josephine (Vladimiro) of Quezon City, Metro Manila; Florence of Quezon City, Metro Manila; Grace Joy (Reynier) of Dubai Marina, Dubai; and Henry (Ynah) of Quezon City, Metro Manila. He has seventeen grandchildren, namely: Nicholas, Ryan, Zayerra, Kayaunna, Dauthan, Crayden, Justin Bryn, James Eian, Jared Carl, Jason Emil, Jade Camille, Naomi Nicole, Isabelle, Vaughn Hyrum, Micah, Daenerys Liberty, and Dominic Chase.

He was preceded by his youngest son Ian James and parents Capt. Florencio and Josefina Flores.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 29, at 10 am, in the Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 12899 South 1300 West in Riverton. A viewing will be held Saturday, February 29, an hour prior to services. Interment will be held at the Riverton Cemetery
