Howard Lee Bellamy Sr., 66, Indianapolis, died Monday. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Ebenezer Baptist Church, of which he was a member and former treasurer. Calling will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Stuart Mortuary. He had been a cutter 31 years in the grind department of Allison Transmission Division of General Motors Corp., retiring in 1984. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: son, Howard Bellamy Jr.; sisters, Marie Alford, Carrie Bellamy and Helen Allen; brothers, Sylvester, Frank, James and Charles Bellamy; three grandchildren.
