Graveside services for Ollie Yvonne Dixon, 75, of Kilgore, will be 10 a.m. today, March 8, 2010, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Mike Tatum officiating, under the direction of Welch Funeral Home. Mrs. Dixon passed away Saturday, March 7, 2010, in Longview. Mrs. Dixon was born December 11, 1934, in Longview, to J.S. and Mamie Beck. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Dixon; and a son, James B. Dixon. She is survived by a son, David Dixon of Kilgore; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Sean Sapp of Bradenton, Fla., and Linda and Robert Garner of Columbus, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Tara Dixon of Lakeland, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Homer Beck of McKinney, Texas, and Edward Beck and Jesse Beck of Rison, Ark.; sisters, Louise Causey of Gladewater, Dorothy Arndt of Layton, Utah, and Fay Hearne of Kilgore; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Heart'sWay Hospice, 1306 Pine Tree Road, Longview, TX 75604. The family extends special thanks to Doctors L. Bourdon, V. Donty, N. Sharma, D. Merritt and A.
