Burial will be at Hope Cemetery in Hannibal, MO.
Friends and Family are invited to Peggy Jo's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services, Thursday, at the funeral home.
Peggy Jo was born October 30, 1945, in Hannibal, MO to Alvis Louis Newsome and Theresa Loretta Moyers Newsome.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Missy Walker of New London, MO and Tammy Hayes of New London, MO, 2 brothers, Richard Newsome of Hannibal, MO and Gene Newsome(Kathy) of Hannibal, MO, 2 sisters, Jackie Mook of Hannibal, MO and Debbie Bird (Ronnie) of Hannibal, MO, 1 grandson, Adam Hayes and 1 great granddaughter, Molly Huff and nieces and nephews.
Peggy Jo is preceded in death by her parents.
Professionally Peggy Jo was a self-employed painter. She enjoyed playing the guitar, woodworking and crafting and hated to cook. Peggy Jo was always outspoken and entertaining and loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Adam Hayes, Kevin Kerley and Brad Kerley.
