Charley Walker, 79, a native of Madison, died Wednesday morning at 6 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jack Bartlett, 1003 North Sexton Street. He recently suffered a light stroke and complications developed about ten days ago. He was born in Madison but had. resided here for the past. 40 years. Mr. Walker was employed as a saw filer at the Wilson Electric Shop until a few weeks ago. He was a member of the Belleview Christian Church. The daughter, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren are among the survivors. Funeral services will be held at the Moster Mortuary Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock by Dr. J. T. Scull. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at ' the mortuary beginning Thursday noon.
