Leonard E. Reinowski, age 79 of Sterling Heights, passed away Tuesday evening at McLaren Macomb, Mount Clemens. He was born September 26, 1940, to Rose (Wobrock) and Leonard Reinowski in Detroit, Michigan.

Mr. Reinowski was a graduate of Mount Clemens High School (1958) and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in law from Wayne State University. He then earned his juris doctor degree in 1967. He retired in 2002 as the Macomb County Probate Court Administrator after 22 years of service. Leonard was a member of the Lions Club for over 50 years and a current member of the Fraser Lions, board member of Macomb County Probate Bar Association and one of its founding members, Macomb County Bar Association Trustee, board member of the Macomb County Retirees Association, where he also served as director, former member of the Planning Commission and Appeal Board for Sterling Heights, and member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton Township. He was also a member of the Mt. Clemens Power Squadron who enjoyed boating and traveling.

Surviving are his children, John (Brianna) Reinowski, Andrea Michael; grandsons, Jacek, Brayden, Gavin, Bren and Aleksy; his girlfriend of many years, Maureen Turner, and the mother of Leonard's children, Sandra Reinowski.

Visiting hours are 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Mount Clemens.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. (in state 10:00), Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 38900 Harper, Clinton Township with Reverend Gary Richard officiating. Burial will follow at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
