ATHENA -- A funeral service for Floyd Edward Easley will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bishop Funeral Chapel in Pendleton. He will be buried in Athena.
Mr. Easley died Dec. 15, 2005. He was born June 27, 1917, in Crosses, Ark., to George Leotis Easley and Ollie Ora Conrad.
Mr. Easley married Anna Alderson Feb. 20, 1937. He joined the U.S. Army and was discharged in 1946.
Mr. Easley worked as a share-crop farmer in Madison County, Ark., until 1951 when they moved to Los Angeles. From California, he and his wife moved to Adams.
Mr. Easley was preceded in death by sisters Alpha and Opal Jean. He is survived by his wife Anna; sons Dwight and Mark, both of Adams, Elvis of North Las Vegas; brothers Mark, Vernon, Henry, James and Roy; sisters Ruby, Charlene and Georgia; 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and seven great-great- grandchildren.
