He was born on August 16, 1950 to James Lloyd Daniel and Beulah Dye-Reeder. He attended South Newton High School. Gary served in the United States Navy from 1970 until his honorable discharge in 1974. He spent his career in hospital management and sales. Following his retirement, Gary enjoyed spending his time fishing and camping.
Gary is survived by siblings, Steve (Deb) Daniel of Pensacola, Fl, Diane (James) Grigsby of Kentland, Donna Dye of Lafayette, and Brenda (Steve) Alexander of Kentland. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death along with his parents is a brother, Ricky Daniel and an infant sister.
