Services to celebrate the life of Glen R. Drennan will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2018, in the Chapel of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta, OK with Rev. Forest Smith officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Morgan Rest Cemetery in rural Love County under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Born in Brownfield, TX on November 6, 1925, Mr. Drennan was the son of James Burden "Jim" Drennan and Martha Mae Rogers Drennan. He passed away Monday, June 18, in Hot Springs Village, AR at the age of 92.

Glen grew up on a farm and learned the meaning of hard work at an early age. On June 21, 1947, he and Cora May Frazier were married in Portales, NM, and she preceded him in death on February 3, 2014. Glen had a long military career serving more than 21 years in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. During that time he served in both World War II and the Korean Conflict and retired with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant in 1969. Three years later the couple moved to Athens, TX where they owned a real estate business and also a ranching operation for 20 years. He enjoyed being with family and friends and playing golf. Glen had been a member of the Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village for 18 years.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Paul Bruckbauer; two brothers; and a sister.

He is survived by two daughters, Trixie Kay Bruckbauer of Jenison, MI and Glenda E. Smith and husband Forest of Dallas, TX; brother, Lee Drennan and wife Sue of Wichita, KS; seven grandchildren, Peter Bruckbauer, Jonathan Bruckbauer, James Bruckbauer, Catherine Timmermans, Deborah Kraal, Melissa Smith, and Melinda Bracy; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers are Peter Bruckbauer, Jonathan Bruckbauer, James Bruckbauer, Danny Frazier, Randy Frazier, and Bill Vinson.
