Virginia Dare Clemons Colbaugh, 86, 1200 Spruce Lane, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the Pine Ridge Care Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Colbaugh was a native of Carter County and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Crow Clemons. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairview Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Colbaugh was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Colbaugh; two brothers, Elbert Clemons, Haskel Clemons; four sisters, Alma Colbaugh, Dorothy Montgomery, Gladys Spitzer and Sara Dial.

Mrs. Colbaugh is survived by a brother, Ray Clemons, Watauga, and a special nephew, Marvin Dial, Watauga. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
