South Bristol - Sybil (Dewey) Dutcher, age 93, passed away peacefully, on Friday, February 7, 2020. She is survived by five children, Sandra (David “Red”) Douglas, Kenneth (Sharon) Dutcher, Susan Hoch, Jay (Angela) Dutcher and Paul Dutcher; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George Dutcher; and son, Raymond Dutcher.

Sybil was born in Canandaigua and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy. She was also a graduate of Finger Lakes Community College. Sybil was the tax collector for the Town of South Bristol, for many years. She was a county election inspector for over 20 years and a member of the Ontario County Republican Committee for 30 years. Sybil was a member of Bristol Springs Free Church and was active in Girl Scouts for over 50 years.

Friends may call tomorrow (Wednesday), from 5-7 pm, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Interment will be in Academy Cemetery, Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the F.F. Thompson Foundation, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
