Effie Arvella Hansen Cloward Tucker, 85, died May 24, 1991 in Salt Lake City.
Born October 13, 1905 in Cleveland, Emery County, Utah to Lafayette and Effie Pulsipher Hansen. Married Clyde Anderson Cloward, January 20, 1924 in Price, Utah, later divorced. Married William Tucker, December 24, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Later divorced. She worked for the Granite School District for 10 years. Employed by Miller Honey Co. in South Salt Lake for 25 years. Secretary in all the LDS auxiliary organizations; Primary teacher, Jr. Sunday School coordinator. Secretary of D.U.P. Former member of Miller and Granite Park Ward.
Survived by children, Clyde C. and Lois Tucker, West Valley; Mrs. DeWayne (Maxine) Hugo, Bay City, Michigan; Darlene T. Jensen, Salt Lake; Fayette C. and Betty Tucker, West Valley; Neldon A. and Delores Tucker, Midvale; Lynn D. and Joie Tucker, West Jordan; 38 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild, two sisters, one brother, Ethel White, LeMesa, Calif.; Clarence A. Larsen, Olympia, Wash.; Viola Ebert, California. Preceded in death by a daughter, Hazel Elaine Cloward, son, Christian Tucker, son in law, Keith A. Jensen.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 11 a.m., Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Rd., where friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to sevices. Burial, Redwood Memorial Estates.
