Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Duane McClure and the Rev. Troy Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.
Mrs. Readhimer was born Sept. 13, 1905, in Heard County, Ga., the county her great-great-grandfather founded. She moved to Texas in 1910 and moved to Floydada in 1920, where she graduated from Floydada High School. She married Vert Readhimer in July 1926, and they moved to Amarillo in 1944. She was a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church, where she was class secretary for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996; and two brothers, Leon Heard and Austin Heard.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
