Cornelia married, about 1872, Franklin Guthrie, a son of John Franklin Guthrie Sr and Mary Swoap.

Mother of Hughlin F "Hugh", James Nelson, Addie Minerva, Thomas Dono, William Ulysses "Willie", Elbert Joseph, Ethel Cinderella, Mattie Pearl and Cornelia Frances "Frankie" Guthrie.

Granddaughter of Jim Miller.

Have not located her on the 1920 and 1930 Census. But it is evident by her age listings on the above census records and her death certificate that she was born closer to 1855 than 1852.

Mrs. Frank Guthrie is
Buried at San Gabriel

Funeral services of Mrs. Frank Guthrie, 90, were conducted from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edgar Cast at the home in San Gabriel at 2 p. m. on Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Guthrie, a resident of Lampasas, was known in the San Gabriel community, having visited in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cast, often. She was the sister of the late Mrs. Sam Locklin and the last memeber of a pioneer family to leave this world.

Mrs. Guthrie died Saturday following a brief illness. Burial was made in the Locklin cemetery.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Edgar Cast of San Gabriel, Mrs. Pearl Cook, and four sons, Jim Guthrie of Corpus Christi, Albert Guthrie of Temple, Hugh Guthrie of Dallas and Tom Guthrie of San Diego, California, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
