Andy was the son of Wilson Fryberger and Ellen Virginia Rider Fryberger.

He married 1st, Augusta Eckhardt, and they were the parents of Andrew Charles, and Harry Lee Fryberger.

He married 2nd, Lulu May McNeell (?), and they were the parents of Wayne William, and Glen Richard Fryberger.

During the years of 1891, 1892, & 1893, Andy was listed as a bridge builder.

A.W.FRYBERGER CALLED IN DEATH.Toll Collector for Muscatine High Bridge 44 yrs. Succumbs.

Andrew W.Fryberger, 72, died at 5 a.m., today at his home, 508 Walnut Street, after an illness of one year with a complication of aliments.

Mr. Fryberger was born on Sept. 27, 1862, at Moscow, Ia., and had spent his entire life in this county. For the past 46 years he had made Muscatine his home.

He married Augusta Emma Eckhardt here on Sept. 27, 1894, and she died on April 9, 1905. On July 31, 1907, he married Lulu M. McNall. Mr. Fryberger aided in building the Muscatine high bridge and was toll collector at the bridge for almost 44 years. In 1931 he received a gold watch for 40 years of continuous service.

Surviving are the widow; two sons from his first marriage, Andrew and Harry Fryberger, both of Muscatine; two sons from his second marriage, Wayne W. And Glen Fryberger, also of this city; two brothers, Charles Fryberger, Muscatine, and Wilson, of Wichita, Ks.; five sisters, Mrs. Phoebe George, Lincoln, Neb., Mrs. Nell Cullip, Wilcox, Canada, Mrs. Clara Behrens, Mrs. Cora Mull and Mrs. Addie Houseman, all of Muscatine.
The body is at the Hoffman Funeral home where it will remain pending funeral arrangements.
