I believe my great-great-great grandfather John F. McAboy is buried at this cemetery. While I have no solid proof, the timelines seem to fit and it's just a gut feeling on my part. He was born in Ohio in what I believe was 1858 and likely died between 1887-1889 in or near Boatman, about 8 miles southeast of Pryor, Oklahoma. He married Louise Williams, who is buried her under the name Louise Gwartney next to her second husband, Anthony Gwartney whom she married in June 1890 in Bentonville, Arkansas. John and Louise had Ida (1880-1948), my great-great grandmother Nora Melinda McAboy Cox (1883-1962), James Coy McAboy (1885-1902) who is buried here under the name Coy J. McAboy, and possibly one more son Ray or Roy McAboy in or around 1888-1889. When visiting this cemetery and standing at Louise's grave, Anthony is buried to her left. Then, there is enough empty space for a couple of unmarked graves and then James Coy's grave is in the next space. My believe, again with no proof, is that John is buried in that unmarked area, but who knows? For now, I will list him as buried here but of course, without actual proof.
