Eric F. Bennett Sr, 72, of 11 West 78th Street, passed away on Tuesday at a nursing home in Lee's Summit. He was born in Pierre, South Dakota, and had lived in the Kansas City area for 45 years. Mr. Bennett was a maintenance worker at the Talisman Apartments before he retired in 1973. He was an Episcopalian. Mr. Bennett was survived by two sons, William E. Bennett of the home and Eric F. Bennett Jr. of Raymore in Cass County; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Wearth, of Sun City, Arizona; and four grandchildren.
Friends called on Thursday evening at the Park Lawn Chapel. Services were held early Friday afternoon at the Park Lawn Chapel. Burial in Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
