Mrs. Beatrice Remster, 68, 1414 Hill avenue, a longtime Sioux City resident, died Tuesday at a hospital. Mrs. Remster was born February 1, 1886, at Turton, S. D. She taught school in South Dakota for several years. She was married in 1914 to Alva Remster, at Conde, S. D. About 34 years ago she came to Sioux City. She was a member of the First Methodist church, Isis chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and Faith circle of Women’s Christian service. Survivors besides the widower are a daughter, Mrs. Doris Benander of Des Moines; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Fanny Ewing of Redfield, S. D., and Mrs. Alvie Newcomb of Drayton, N. D. The body was taken to the Nelson-Berger funeral home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Remster, 68, 1414 Hill avenue, a longtime Sioux City resident who died Tuesday, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Nelson-Berger funeral home. Rev. Charles Mason of the First Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland park cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donald E. Nelson, Earl Limback, Oscar A. Johnson, Joe Garvis, I. B. Hansen and R. A. Moor.
